The end is nigh...

What with the final report being due in exactly 3 days, the end is so close we can taste it! The hard copy maps are officially complete, the 3D model and SketchUp simulation is complete, the web-app is busy being styled to perfection as we speak and the final report is well under way. We're super keen to have this module completed- Not that we didn't enjoy the challenge or anything, but darn, is it time for a well deserved recess. The final presentation will take place next Monday so after we hand in this report, it is time to cross that bridge. We're taking this one step at a time...

On a totally exciting side note:

We have been deemed finalists in the Responsive Cities Challenge. We entered under the city of eThekwini (AKA Durban) on their problem of: How can eThekwini Municipality use open data to better connect government to citizens? We will be submitting a 4 minute video demo tomorrow and gain feedback on the winners on the 25 November... Here's holding thumbs hmm.
