Project requirements creation

We are nearing the end of the paperwork side of the project. The second last documentation needed is the Project requirements. This paperwork specifically defines what the project will need in order to function optimally. The documentation takes a look at both the client and the business side and what each side requires specifically. The Alaskan Assimilators seem to b getting better at this paperwork thing as we move along.

Some advice would be to make use of an easy to use, yet effective project management software. We are currently using Project Libre and it works like a dream. It is open source and simply needs Java installed to run on your PC. The software allows for schedules, gantt charts, WBS' and more to be completed at the click of a button. Makes life a lot easier.

We are also currently officially starting with the creation of our maps, 3D model as well as the back end of the web-mapping application. Some advice: The sooner you start these tasks the better. Life doesn't wait for you to get your ish together, so might as well force it to...
